Yasuo Takada

• 1927 - Yasuo Takada was born in Yokohama

• 1945 - Enrolled in Tokyo Fine Arts School (now known as Tokyo University of the Arts)

  Studied oil painting under Ryuzaburo Umehara

• 1950 - Graduated from Tokyo Fine Arts School and subsequently exhibited artworks in solo exhibitions as an independent artist

  Solo Exhibition at Kanda Bumpodo

  Solo Exhibition at Akasaka Shoun Gallery

  Solo Exhibition at Shinbashi Ito Gallery

• 1969 - Moved his base of operations from Yoyogi Uehara to Oiso

• 1976 - Artwork "Nogeshi" is acquired by The National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto

  Biennial solo exhibitions held 22 times at Ginza Bungei Shunju Gallery

• 2012 - Solo exhibition at Ginza Nagai Gallery

• 2013 - Exhibition "Takada Yasuo no Yokohama" at Yokohama Takashimaya

  Exhibition "Takada Yasuo no Yokohama" at Ginza Nagai Gallery

• 2016 - Passed away at the age of 89
